I Am Aware of His Potential.” Anthony Davis is praised by Shaquille O’Neil Lakers make it back into the playoffs after a memorable comeback victory

Anthony Davis was asked to take on a larger role as a result of LeBron James being benched for the Los Angeles Lakers. The nine-time NBA All-Star played a key role in the Lakers’ thrilling 128-124 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.

Milwaukee was always going to be a difficult opponent for the Lakers, who were missing their best player. The Bucks, led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, had a 46-25 record going into the game and were second in the Eastern Conference. They controlled the first few minutes, leading by as much as 19 points at the half. After a historic comeback led by Anthony Davis and his colleagues, the Lakers narrowly prevailed in overtime.

Davis finished the game with 34 points, 23 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals. He was quite impressive. In addition to making three three-pointers, he finished with a 12-31 shooting percentage.

Shaquille O’Neil, a former NBA center, discussed Davis’ remarkable form and potential with reporters after the game.

“He is aware of my feelings for him… I know what he’s capable of, so his parents approached me and said, “We want you to stay on our boy.

Anthony Davis currently leads the Lakers roster in rebounds (12.6), blocks (2.4) and minutes (35.9) on the season. He ranks second on the team in points (24.7) behind only LeBron James.

Tuesday’s victory keeps Darvin Ham’s team in the race for a play-in spot. With just 10 games remaining in the season, they currently sit ninth place in the Western Conference with a 40-32 record and hold a slender 2.5 game lead over the Golden State Warriors
