Reanne Evans on what Ronnie O’Sullivan did to surprise her in World Mixed Doubles partnership
As she gets ready to partner with Luca Brecel this weekend, Reanne Evans says that pairing with the GOAT at last season’s World Mixed Doubles astonished her with Ronnie O’Sullivan’s “human and normal” mental process.
The most well-known team at the event last season was undoubtedly Evans and O’Sullivan; Neil Robertson and Mink Nutcharut became victorious.
The 12-time women’s world champion enjoyed having the Rocket as her partner and says she was taken aback to see him, the best player of all time, act and think like a regular person.
Evans said WST, “He is the best there has ever been and the best there ever will be.” The fact that he is a regular person and human was fascinating.
With O’Sullivan not playing in the event this year, Evans is teaming with world champion Luca Brecel and she can’t wait to play alongside the Bullet.
